SCHEMA is important for SEO Orange County 2020
In late 2020 Google announced the direction of search engine optimization. While SCHMA or structured data markup wasn’t specifically named by Google as a ranking factor effecting Orange County SEO, it has been shown to help with search results for websites that have SCHEMA code integrated, featuring their rich text snippets on the top of Google search engine results pages.
What SCHEMA markup code does is it gives enhanced data about a website that will be displayed by Google, correlating to searches that users make. If you have ever seen those search snippets that are featured by Google, sometimes showing top ten lists, other times featuring a business over all others, that is due to SCHEMA markup.
As we mentioned Google didn’t say that this is a major ranking factor moving into 2020, but sites with SCHEMA markup have been featured on top of results.
